Collect homework: 17 questions on “Thank You, Ma’am”

 

Pick up “Exam Review Guide” (on center table) - discuss

 

WARMUP: (The last one started on this warm-up is a rotten egg):

a.       While I take attendance, write out how the story “Thank You, Ma’m” would have been different if one of your friends from school played the role of Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones?

a.       Why would your friend respond differently?

b.      Is this a teenage copout?

c.       Have you ever done anything wrong?
