ENGLISH - 1st trimester – Day 20

Collect homework: Interloper’s Parts 1 & 2 (or a pink sheet)

DIRECTIONS: Without re-using any of the key words in the sentences, write down the deeper meaning of any 2 of the following 7 sentences:

1.            It was still dark after the sun rose.
2.            I was home before I was off the bus.
3.            The mom had screamed before the baby even fell.
4.            The ball was in the hole while I was in mid swing.
5.            The man was dead while he was alive.
6.            She was silent while she was singing.
7.            She checked out of the hotel before she even packed.
