ENGLISH - 1^st trimester – Day 7

1. WARMUP:
   1. Take out your vocabulary sheet WITHOUT BEING ASKED, add one of your answers to the SMARTBOARD using the MAGIC pen…
   2. Make up a clever connection between the spelling of the vocabulary word and its definition…put your connection into a little story…

1. For example: Licentious – Lie/Cent/Lice = morally unrestrained, immoral

a. It is immoral if you only paid a cent for her iPad.

2. Reviewed answers to last night’s homework: EXERCISE I - vocabulary sheet
3. Announced FC tutoring sessions – The Zone; announced Tuesday’s comedy/improvisation after-school class beginning in a couple of weeks.
4. Continue reading “The Most Dangerous Game” in Literature book p. 23 - 32.
   1. Wrote up our 3^rd prediction after reading page 26.

ENGLISH homework:

Study for vocabulary test on Friday (the test will have a word bank and 20 fill-in-the-blank sentences – you provide the correct vocabulary word for each sentence)
