ENGLISH - 1^st trimester – Day 23

 

·         Take test on Interlopers

·         Read opening introductory pages on Edgar Allan Poe (pgs. 276 – 285) – including “Letter to John Allan” and “Alone” and ADD at least 15 NOTES from these pages for an open-notes test in the near future

o   ANNOUNCEMENT: OPEN-NOTES test on Edgar Allan Poe

·    Activity 5 (Jurassic Park excerpt)

·         Identified 3 kinds of irony with comics and scenarios

 

ENGLISH homework:

 

·         Study for “Lesson Three” vocabulary test on Friday (the test will have a word bank and 20 fill-in-the-blank sentences – you provide the correct vocabulary word for each sentence)

 

·         Add to your 35 NOTES from the play you read in class as well as the notes from the opening introductory pages on Edgar Allan Poe (pgs. 276 – 285) – including “Letter to John Allan” and “Alone” for an open-notes test next week
