ENGLISH - 1st trimester – Day 49

WARMUP:
  1. We’ll take notes onto page 1 of our Human Footprint handout.
  2. pick up Exam Review Guide
Worked in ON NETBOOKS the rest of the hour writing a rough draft and outline.t

Discussed final revision including:
·         Add a title to your paper (centered)
·         Must include the title of the documentary in the paper (NOT just in the title):
o   Human Footprint (2008)
·         Do NOT underline restated thesis in paragraph V.

FCAs – Focus Correction Areas
  1. Typed paper avoids 1st and 2nd person and is NEAT and THOUGHTFULLY constructed
    1. Times New Roman – 12 pt. font;
    2. whole paper is double spaced (Do NOT triple space between paragraphs);
    3. Name, date, hour (in header);
    4. pages numbered in footer (bottom, right-hand side)
  2. add 7 DIFFFERNT transitions to THE BEGINNING of sentences in your typed essay (You must circle all 7 with pen or pencil or no credit will be earned)
