ENGLISH - 1^st trimester – Day 4

1.     If you are missing ANY of the following homework, fill out a pink sheet.

a.       Collect homework (be sure to include your name, date, and hour)
                                                              i.      Signed Contact Information Sheet
                                                            ii.      Commercial
                                                          iii.      Plotline for a movie or book
2. After you laid out your homework, do BOTH of the following:

1. if you do not have your book, WITHOUT ASKING ME, go to locker and get your Literature book (the purple one)…you won’t be marked “tardy” J

                                                              i.      Then write your name on the inside cover

2. Pick up copy of Literary Terms handout (on center table) – review “plotline” and “conflict”

4. Pre/Post test Tri A

5. After you finish your PRE test,

1. list the abilities/talents that you (or other people) would say you have.

2. What do you hope to do with them in the future?

6. ANSWER to last night’s challenge: What contraction uses an apostrophe that represents exactly 3 letters?
