ENGLISH – 1^st Trimester - Day 24

 

·         Number a paper 1 – 20 (do not skip lines) and write the word “POE” on the top

·         Take vocabulary test

·         Take out notes on Poe and take test

·         Next, write down:

o   5 characteristics that you like in other people and

o   5 that you dislike in other people

§  Rank your 5 dislikes in other people in order from 1 – 5.

o   Then 5 that you dislike in yourself

§  Write your #1 dislike on an index card and keep it in your pocket until Monday.

·         Keep track of how many times you encounter it between now and then.

·         Grade both tests.

·         Number a paper 1-30.

o   Begin “cloze” reading (handout 1- 30) of annotated version of first page of “The Cask of Amontillado” - see handout and pg. 286 in Literature book – TO BE COLLECTED NEXT WEEK (after we finish it)

Homework:

 

Keep track (on half an index card) of how many times you see your characteristic in others between now and Monday.
