1. Take vocabulary test (Lesson 5: jaded, gist, advocate…)
2. What does “fun” look/feel/taste/sound/smell like?
a. List them at least 10 things. Use all 5 senses (if you can)…
b. Beneath your list, and without using the word “fun” – write a ½ page/paragraph using some of your list to describe something (of your choice).
3. Show student work from Wednesday…
a. Letters to friends warning about the knot of cruelty
b. What “boring” looks, smells, tastes, feels, sounds like
4. Graded today’s vocabulary tests
5. TOOK NOTES:
a. What is a pronun? What is its antecedent?
b. Defined pronoun and antecedent with either definitions or examples – reviewed in class
6. Introduction to pronouns and antecedents – practiced identifying both in 20 sentences on monitors – reviewed answers (#21)
